Vega Riaza is produced by Bodegas Valdubon, which was founded in 1997. The winery is located in the village of Milagros, close to Aranda de Duero, the capital of the Ribera del Duero region. Bodegas Valdubon owns 40 hectares of vineyards of Tinta del Pais (Tempranillo) in the Ribera del Duero.Ribera del Duero is a Denomination of Origin, a classification of quality wines in Spain. The Regulating Council of Ribera del Duero controls the origin and characteristics of the grapes and wines, which guarantees that the consumer receives the highest quality wine. Each bottle is entitled to carry the Ribera del Duero label on its back.
