Chateau Laval and Domaine Laval
are owned by Mr. and Mrs. Alcay. These properties have been in the family for
generations. Both are situated in the Gard Department, in the southern Rhone.
Chateau Laval is an Appellation Costieres de Nimes. The area of the Appellation
has been carefully delimited: It covers a large plateau to the south of the town
of Nimes and is limited by the Rhone in the east and the Camargue to the south.
Domaine Laval vineyard being situated outside these limits is a Vin de Pays du
Gard.
