Seigneurs de Bergerac
Blanc 2005

Varietals: 50% Sauvignon Blanc, 40% Semillon, 10% Muscadelle.

Tasting Notes: The fresh, delicate nose is enhanced with aromas of citrus and pear. On the palate, these blend with soft spice notes. The abundance of fruit lingers on the finish, yielding a remarkably versatile wine that will pair well with a wide range of light dishes, and is perfect by itself.




Seigneurs de Bergerac
Rouge 2004

Varietals: 45% Merlot, 45% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Cabernet Franc

Tasting Notes: The wine begins with a rich, fruity fragrance of blackcurrant and cherry. On the palate it is supple and well rounded with a pleasant array of dark fruit flavors. The soft texture carries through to the finish, yielding a delightfully easy drinking, all purpose red. Try it anytime.



Château Haute Brande
Entre-Deux-Mers 2005

Varietal: 50% Sauvignon Blanc, 30% Semillion, 18% Muscadelle, 2% Colombard.

Tasting Notes: The wine begins with delightful fragrances of melon and fig, which come together on the palate with a light touch of mineral. The experience is soft and delicate, and leads to a finish that is long and clean with a gentle citrus note. This wine will enhance and accent a wide range of chicken, vegetable and light fish dishes.



Château Des Proms
Graves Blanc 2004

Varietals: 85% Semillon, 10% Sauvignon Gris, 5% Sauvignon Blanc

Tasting Notes: Delicate floral aromas with an appealing mineral background lead to a soft full wine on the palate. The melon and fig of the Semillon grape dominate the wine and lead to a crisp lemony finish. Try this with richly flavored fowl or seafood.


 

Château Haut-Grand-Champ
Bordeaux Rouge 2004

Varietal: 45% Cabernet Sauvignon, 41% merlot, 13% Cabernet Franck, 1% Malbec.

Tasting Notes: A pleasantly fragrant wine with aromas of cherry and spice, this is a medium bodied, unoaked Bordeaux with soft delicate tannins. Fermentation in stainless steel helps preserve the bright fruit flavors, which carry through to the soft pleasing finish. The elegant balance of fruit and tannins will make this wine shine with pork, fowl or a multitude of pasta dishes.




Château Laurensanne
Côtes de Bourg 2004

Varietals: 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 50% Merlot

Tasting Notes: Very forward, elegant and soft, with a rich mouth feel and soft tannins. The attractive flavors of cherry and cassis predominate accented with light earth tones. A great all purpose red to pair with veal and other lighter meat dishes.



Château Gontier
Premières Côtes de Blaye 2005

Varietals: 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 50% Merlot

Tasting Notes: A fine example of the concentration of fruit and color we find with the classic 2005 vintage. The wine is big and rich with pleasing aromas of cassis and flowers. Full and dense on the palate, the Merlot-Cabernet blend is surprisingly soft, ending in a long aromatic finish. Try this with any hearty meat or pasta dish.



Château Proms Bellevue
Grave Rouge 2005

Varietals: 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 32% Merlot, 13% Cabernet Franc

Tasting Notes: The aromas of dark fruit mix with light herbal ntoes. On the palate the wine is lithe and supple, with the concentrated flavors of blackberry and cherry. Again the 2005 vintage gives you a winner. The soft texture and long fruit-filled finish will enhance a wide array of richly flavored dishes.



Château la Rose Metairie
Haut-Medoc 2005

Varietal: 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 45% merlot

Tasting Notes: A rich bold wine from the great 2005 vintage. The concentrated aromas are cassis, spice and licorice. Deeply extracted, with rich tannins and bright fruit, the wine offers complexity in drinking now, as well as great promise of the future. Pair this with grilled and roasted meats.



Château Gauthier
Medoc 2003

Varietals: 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% merlot, 5% Petit Verdot.

Tasting Notes: The nose is a bright array of blackberry, cherry and violet with hints of oak. The intricacy of the nose carries onto the plate with elegance and force. A jammy concentration of fruit and spice, accented nicely with light toasty oak and elegant tannins. A perfect combination with cheeses or grilled meats.




Château Les Vieux Ormes
Lalande de Pomerol 2004

Varietals: 85% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Cabernet Franc

Tasting Notes: Very rich plumy Merlot fruit greets the nose with great intensity. The wine displays lovely, dark red plum flavors complimented with light oak and tobacco accents. A classic Merlot, with great texture and a soft earthy finish. Pick you dish and Merlot fans will love this one!



Château Beyliux
Sauternes 2003

Varietals: 80% Semillon, 15% Sauvignon Blanc, 5% Muscadelle.

Tasting Notes: Bright attractive aromas of apricots, nectarines and honey. The lush and fruity palate of apricot and pineapple flavors is coupled with the honeyed overtones of botrytis. Well balanced, soft and delicious. Perfect with a fruit tart, blue cheeses, as an aperitif or by itself.
