Produced entirely from the Albarino grape, grown on a 33 hectacre estate in the cool Galician region of Rias Baixas (in the far northwest corner of Spain).
After a short maceration with the skin, the wine had a controlled temperature fermentation.
Tasting Notes:
La Fontana is Straw-covered yellow with greenish tones.
The nose is clean and intensive, with intense fruit aromas.
On the palate the wine is crisp, clean, and well-balanced, with a dry and fruity character on the finish.
It's a crisp, clean, dry, and flavorsome white wine, ideal with fish, seafood or as an aperitif. |
