Viņa Carossa

A brand which was first produced in the 1980's as a true value line, but until now has never been available in the United States.

Produced in the heart of a long-established wine region in northern Spain, Viņa Carossa has set a standard for value in red and white table wines, as well as sparkling wine since the early 1980's. The white focuses on the local grapes that generally go to produce the world-famous Cava sparkling wines, while the red relies on Spain's classic Tempranillo grape for its body and character. Viņa Carossa sparkling wine is also derived from the Cava grape varieties, but through an extended Charmat process where the wine remains in contact with the yeast for up to six months. This yields a sparkling wine of grace, elegance and delicacy.

Viņa Carossa Brut

is fermented in tanks for up to six months. This process results in a very delicate fruity wine whose bubbles rival wines fermented in the bottle.
